A news article I read earlier today reported that Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear fame has stated that an unnamed BBC executive asked him to return to his hosting job with the hugely popular television phenomenon only last week - and he said, no thanks.

Word just in that Michael Jackson's youngest son, Blanket has changed his name due to being tired of the bullying he apparently receives from being tagged with such a moniker.

Got up this morning feeling pretty energized and positive, until I read a really bizarre story about a man in the US who has been arrested for allegedly having sex with his wife's pet dog, a shi Tzu named Buster.

Hey everyone, welcome to my brand new column, "Caught Short" where I get to write a few short words about whatever I like, whenever time and circumstance allows. The concept appeals to me in a big way, due to life continuing to get busier and busier, and spare time now being a very rare commodity I don't have very much of. So sick and tired of the seemingly endless accusations of child molestation being levelled at the late Micheal Jackson. But that being said, if you think my sentiments are just the biased ramblings of someone defending a friend, you'd be wrong. To be honest, there have been far too many times in my life where I've needed to "set someone straight", after discovering they viewed children in such a way, and if any of the terrible things Micheal has been accused of doing in the past is ever proven...

So sad to hear today of the passing of one of our greatest ever Prime Minister's, Gough Whitlam.
