Loves me, loves me not.
14th Feb is Valentines Day and in Australia it’s closing in on the end of Summer, lonely heart singles must scramble to find a Valentine to be coupled off for the cold, rainy Winter months ahead! Actually, In all honesty I don’t think many of us single folks are all that desperate to be coupled off but it doesn’t mean we don’t believe in finding true love! There are so many options now for the romantic soul to fall deep in love, find friendship, engage in digital love or even a casual sex hookups... -

Happy New Ear!
Closing in on 2014 I’m reflective of time, packaging up the years experience and tying neat little red ribbons around them to place under my evergreen tree of being. I marvel at how magical life is when I get the precious opportunity to reflect. Life as a single mum of four young girls and a ginger boy cat, in business I am frequently immersed in the experience of living and find these moments I can sit and write, indulge in creativity for pure creativities sake to be of the highest luxury. A luxury... -

I love creative production, I've been lucky enough to direct and produce and be part of some amazing photography, film, and stage productions over the years. Being in business the personal branding is a big thing and Summer time means it’s time to update my professional profile images! August I did some portrait shots in the city but we lost a lot of light that early evening and did not get a lot of good shots. Life is a bit of a creative production, and in my brand profile shots I want to c... -

Maximum Marshmallows!
Almost 50 years ago, psychologist Walter Mischel sat five-year-old children down at a table and gave them a simple choice: they could eat one marshmallow now, or two marshmallows later.
The experiment was about self control, trying to discover personality types that displayed more self control to those who wanted instant gratification. I wonder if todays generation would do differently on this experiment, as we now live in a very immediate society. Apparently not! These experiments gener... -

VALUES CHECKLIST
To work out what you want and need in life you must first identify your values. Values are powerful motivators. We all live by more sort of values eg: security, challenge, honesty, integrity, respect, freedom. Our values represent how we have to learn to think things ought to be and people be brave and should behave. Values are important to identify in any self development work because in order to achieve success and satisfaction our values must fit the direction of our live... -

Clarity, communication and Crazy 9s!
Closing in on another gigantas week, is that even a word? Apparently, according to my Sunday brain it is! I had a massive cleanse last night thanks to the bad tummy bug that found the way into my system and sent it haywire for a few days before taking the back exit! ... -

Body and Soul
No doubt it has been a challenging week in the media we have been bombarded with images of war, terrorism and fear. We must remember if we expose ourselves to these images, stories and negative influences constantly we are lowering our tolerance to such negativity. A great teaching I learned in yoga this week is attention is currency. Its no different to ‘you are what you eat.’ While the worlds media does a good job of bringing the badness in the world to account, and exposes the crimes of human... -

Creative Company
It’s been so long since I wrote about the one and only journey called LIFE. I have been busy LIVING! I had to quit my writing jobs, scale back my coaching practise and innovate my previous business systems!
Focussed on building a business, a production and digital agency that is a perfect fit for my creative strengths and coaching skills in developing brands, content and campaigns. Did I tell you it is FUN! A business that has great potential in a fairly new and evolving industry. That... -

I’m suggesting to clients that self care is as important as brushing your teeth and we include a strategy as part of any business, career, relationship or parenting program. Don’t let yourself get to burn out before you make the choice to look after yourself. The quality of your work and ability to be present mindfully in life will greatly increase if you are gentle, kind and loving with yourself. Here are some tips to help you begin a self care Sunday ritual or ceremony: ...-

Anderson Park, Hawthorn East
Autumn has arrived, and we’re at the beginning of a transition. It is still warm in Melbourne, but soon we’ll see the changes in colour, falling of leaves, night-time coming earlier and the temperature getting notably cooler. With all this natural change that sets in every year it’s a wise time to reflect if there are some things you might like to shed so you can grow in other ways. The art of holding on and letting go is very personal but we all experience s...-

Seeing the best in yourself requires you to be authentic. Being a good leader begins with the relationship you have with yourself. Holding yourself accountable to an honourable character and making the conscious choice to do better. A leader looks for the good in people and shines light on them, building them up and good leadership begins with leading yourself. The only way to do that is to take a good within yourself and accept who you are, flaws and all. No one is perfect, we a...-
