Are chain mail emails a window into peoples souls in this soulless ethernet?

Over the years mates have sent me volumes of jokes and pics and other hilarious stuff, generally I have thought they were very funny bastards, some gems, a few of which were shared on bowls blogs.

Whilst I was writing for my sisters in the Metro News, I started to receive a darker type of email chain letter, some barely comprehensible but others full tilt anti Muslim and other conspiracy theorists, whilst the girls went full tilt on Aboriginal, Palestinian and women's issues.

Being Far Middle, this didn't sit well with me, being the multicultural nation we are now, no going back...
Shit, I believe in aliens like we all do, don't we???

I'm from a fifth geneartion alien family, history is not clear on why the three brothers Piscioli split from Ticino, in the 1860's, but dare say someone didn't like the cut of their jib either! Something to do with Garibaldi wanting to take out all the Papal Knight breeding stock...apparently!

I copped the 'wog' stuff as a kid at school, mind you 5th generation Aussie as I was, blue eyed and blonde haired it confused the shit out of me, and trouble ensued. Then my few mates would have to battle the Protestants, who chose to engage us in taunts and rock fights, you call them yonnies in Victoria, ours were bigger, 3 catholics against 10 Protty dogs on higher ground...the bastards!

It was great for me because I look Skippy, the Asians arrived and evryone forgot I was a wog.

AND, the Asians were rapt when the Africans arrived, most Oz/Vietnamese bred kids I've met are making sensational contributions, more Aussie minded than a lot of the outer suburban one parent/multiple paternity Australian families that are sucking at our coffers...but what do you do...we made them...

Dad was legend for his anti Semitism. It was all a crock. Although he was defininetly Far Right leaning, I still speak to a lot of his Jewish mates, and he had others in much higher positions feeding him information...he MAY have been a bit of a patsy in that way, but I doubt it, his sense of humour was evil.

Most of his most sensational 'bullshit' was straight from the horses mouth, many different genera actually, from pond scum to eagles.

Today I reckon I received the most classic of all the sublime Right Wing rhetoric I have ever seen, from a mate, no names, no pack drills...let's call him Kletus...I'm reticent to print it, but this stuff just goes around and around and rarely sees the light of day.

I'll put the rest of the post on page break, for the weak-hearted or easily offended, it won't burn your eyes, but it is an insight to incite?

I will follow that with my response and Kletus' return mail. After that another piece of mail, that on first reading I almost trashed then thought, where is the line...I would like a solid debate for those with the goolies to identify themselves.

And under the pretense of tolerance, and because we wanted to prove to ourselves that we were cured of the disease of racism, we opened our gates to 20 million Muslims, who brought us stupidity and ignorance, religious extremism and lack of tolerance, crime and poverty, due to an unwillingness to work and support their families with pride.

They have blown up our trains and turned our beautiful Spanish cities into the third world, drowning in filth and crime.

Shut up in the apartments they receive free from the government, they plan the murder and destruction of their naive hosts.

And thus, in our misery, we have exchanged culture for fanatical hatred, creative skill for destructive skill, intelligence for backwardness and superstition.

We have exchanged the pursuit of peace of the Jews of Europe and their talent for a better future for their children, their determined clinging to life because life is holy, for those who pursue death, for people consumed by the desire for death for themselves and others, for our children and theirs.

What a terrible mistake was made by miserable Europe ..

The Jews are NOT promoting brain washing children in military training camps, teaching them how to blow themselves up and cause maximum deaths of Jews and other non Muslims. Now, more than ever, with Iran , among others, claiming the Holocaust to be 'a myth,' it is imperative to make sure the world never forgets.

Hilarious--Fuck the Europeans, all that Colonial oppression, plundering and ravishing has come to bite them on the arse, love it!!! Did you know that you have the right to speak to an Australian person when you call a company for a service or whatever.
** I've done this when I simply couldn't understand the person talking to me. But I never realised that this is a proactive way of bringing jobs back to Australia. Do the following when you phone any customer service operation that is based in a foreign country. I have done this twice and it works! **
Any time you call a company about a problem with a credit card, bank account, computer, product, etc and you are answered by a person in a call centre abroad, eg. In India, try this:
As soon as you realise that the customer service person is not in Australia (you can always ask if you are not sure about the accent), please very politely (very politely - this is not about trashing other cultures) say,
"I'd like to speak to a customer service person in Australia."
The rep might suggest talking to his/her manager, but, again, politely say,
"Thank you, but I'd like to speak to a customer service person in Australia .."
YOU WILL BE IMMEDIATELY CONNECTED to a rep in Australia.. It only takes a few seconds to have your call re-directed to Australia ...
Tonight when I got redirected to an Australian rep, I asked again to make sure - and yes, she was in Perth.
Imagine if tomorrow, every Australian citizen requests an Australian rep, how that would impact the number of extra Australian jobs needed. Imagine what would happen if every Australian citizen insisted on talking to only Australian phone reps from this day on.
Remember - the goal is to restore jobs back here at home - not to be abrupt or rude to a foreigner.

Now that was from a British sounding Australian who married a Muslim. Probably do-able!

What is your opinion, are these two tomes of the same ilk?

I don't intend to be a conduit for such material, maybe though we might address the ignorant by simply ignoring them, I am sure their lives will be painful enough without any contributions.

I like to think of Australia's so called racists as the Ignorant Bunch, most are truly ill informed, some of these people haven't moved out of their own suburb in 40 years for Jeebus' sake, others reckon they have a personal stake due to one thing or another...keep it to yourself, or deal with it and its attached consequences.

Pity the negatives and move on, we have a great country built by wogs like us, although the Aboriginals are still spewin'....

Basic xenophobia is a state of human condition, reptile brain stuff, but we are sophisticated enough to be aware of this condition, and as we meld as a community the races establishing themselves and integrating into Australia will find their place.

It would be a damn sight easier on everyone if we all just settled down and shook hands and begin a solid meeting of minds.

Australia needs it's own formula or we will quickly turn into the nut houses of Europe and the US.
