The Father Bob Maguire Foundation (FBMF) is hurting right now due to a massive lack of funds to keep ALL of their amazing programs running.
The FBMF receives no government or corporate grants or funding. Everything comes form the people and goes to the people.
Father Bob as over 60,000ppl following him on twitter, if everyone donated $2... we would have raised $120,000 and the FBMF would be able to continue their great work.

"To all my Facebook Friends, we need a mere $2 a month from you. Our Foundation has been working tirelessly to provide the best services possible to those that need it.
1. Our Food Van team is working tirelessly providing food to anyone that we can. Our outreach workers are working day and night. The funding needed to provide accommodation to the youth we serve is fast becoming astronomical.
2. The scholarships that we provide are keeping many in the education system, this is providing them with what they need to meet societies expectations.

Our Foundation is one that is different, as we receive no government or corporate grants or funding. We proudly say that the Foundation belongs to everyone. This means we rely on public donations to run our services and strive to provide as much knowledge of the streets as possible. As you can imagine with the current economic struggles many people are having trouble making ends meet.
Making a change is not easy (as most people know) but together as a community we can be the change we want to see.

I love to see the community spirit shown by you all, The Father Bob Maguire Foundation, is always there for you. as the message above states, we receive no corporate or government funding. Remembering why I started this foundation, brings back a lot of memories of individuals that have shaped my life. As I get older and see things with a more broad perspective, I see many young people making the change I wish to. The Big Umbrella and Interaction are two marvellous organisations, that continue to spread the great message. My team here at the foundation, are working with strong determination and stamina to help those needing it. Please help me, as all I ask is for a mere $2 to help fight the cause that is worth fighting for.
