Lifeline needs your help to provide immediate crisis support to Australians hit hard by the dairy farmer crisis.
The Australian dairy farmer crisis is hurting farming communities across Australia.
Last week, Lifeline Australia received an urgent call from a farmers’ group.
Their reception staff are receiving calls from desperate farmers with absolutely nothing left who are thinking about taking their lives.
A perfect storm of retrospective price cuts, droughts and reduced demand has put many farming families at risk of financial ruin. These farmers, the people who support them, and their affected communities need to know that there is hope, and that help is available.
The Lifeline network across Australia is working hard to put together an emergency response to make sure every farming community in distress has access to critical crisis support. But, we need your help.
Please give as much as you can to help fund our emergency response and give hope to farmers and their communities doing it tough.
