Boizel 1996 Joyau de France Brut

$150.00
This is amongst my Top picks in vintage Champagne
Boizel is a smaller Champagne house hence not seen in the same light as Bollinger and Billecart
However it too has a high Pinot Noir content and oak treatment, this would explain the forest flour and strawberry hints on the nose.
This wine is complex for Champagne and it finishes creamy dry and long
With a hint of nuts at the very end.
This wine is well worth tracking down
