ARTS HOUSE PARTICIPATE IN ARTCOP21 — THE CULTURAL AND ARTISTIC RESPONSE TO THE UNITED NATIONS CONFERENCE ON CLIMATE CHANGE
For the final Supper Club of 2015, Arts House will host a virtual forum – COP OUT – with an eclectic and esteemed group of scientists, artists, academics and activists to discuss how art can impact climate change.
COP OUT is a live video/audio streamed online event (via the Arts House blog and Twitter) that will take place on the final day of the Paris Conference of Parties (COP21) on Friday, 11 December 2015.
Hosted by musician and activist Matt Wicking from the Centre for Sustainability, COP OUT will include interviews, reflections and conversations with over 30 contributors, including Councillor Cathy Oke live from Paris at COP21 and Councillor Rohan Leppert in Melbourne at Arts House, who will discuss the successes and challenges of COP21 and the role art and culture is playing in the events surrounding...
