It started in 1770, so what’s new about people coming here on boats without a visa.
At least the people coming now aren’t taking our land of us without permission and trying to kill us off.
Surely there is a better way of dealing with this situation than what we have now.
Personally I don’t have a huge problem with some of the boat people, after all what would you do if you were in their situation?

If I remember rightly we had Vietnamese people coming here some years ago and we seemed to handle the situation, so what is the problem now? I am not saying they all should be allowed to stay, but we should be doing something better than what we are doing now. We have a huge country with not a lot going on over vast areas and where no people live.
