Back to the very beginning... After my trip to Vietnam - a trip that allowed reflecting on the meaning of life - I understood that it was time for me to leave France!
Indeed, France was no longer my motherland; I had had enough of it. I decided to raise anchor and cast off for Australia. I quit work, adjusted the administrative wretched papers and fare welled my family and my friends before departing 'down under'.

    Why did I choose Australia?
Well, during my trips, all of the 'Aussies' I had met had come out as optimistic and joyful. One of them was convinced that Melbourne would be my Promised Land. Off I went!
I landed on this unknown land with my two big suitcases, a packed handbag and this to make

Lets start… here is the article for a lot of my friends who have asked me to write about… and I have hesitated for a long time to write about... Not that I lacked inspiration, far from it, but especially because of the repercussions in my sentimental life.

What is it all about? It’s about the relationships in Melbourne or rather… men. I am going to be honest, we (French women) still understand NO-THING. However, personally, like for my English, from the

You will be a woman Darling!

Every morning, I wake up boosted by this idea: " yeah I am in Australia ".

Boosted as a young teenager who has the only desire to live life to the fullest. But where does it come from? What is this potion that use Aussies to be always with so many positive energy?

And well I shall have taken time to reveal some indications, a little more than 4 months to be precise and I think of being right by saying that Aussies keep this part of carefreeness, lightness and adolescence that we tend to lose too quickly in Europe. As Frenchwoman, carried by the history of a heavy country, marked by wars, conflicts and a rebellion mind, I often felt tired in my own country in spite of my age; certainly the weight of the past and a form of conventional mind that doesn’t correspond to me.

Arrived in Australia, I was totally confronted with a shock of culture, a young country and almost pure country if I could say with an overflowing energy that exceeded...

The Melbourne Buzz Word : « BUSY »

Many of you have asked me when my next article would be ready – well here it is!* It has taken some time to compose, what with my roof collapsing, car stolen for 2 weeks, a new job working twilight hours, unexpected closure of my school and many other challenges… which brings me to the subject of the article this week – and my new found understanding of the word – so well used in Melbourne – ‘BUSY’!

All of the above events have made me reflect on this so called “busy attitude”.*
I have never heard this word used so much as it has here in Melbourne
“Sorry, I'm busy”, “I'm crazy busy”, “Would love to…. But I am busy, man" – WTF?
I even met a Mr Busy once who could not answer my txt messages because he was so busy. Pftt!

I attempted to understand - who returns them if busy these Aussies??? What exactly transpires in this city to make so many so busy? Hmmmmm…
So I said myself; these people work
