Will Ian "Molly" Meldrum ever work for Channel 7 again?

In front of a room full of supporters, Ian Meldrum affectionately known as Molly walked slowly to the front and took a seat in front of a microphone.

His reason for attending the Readings Bookstore on Acland Street, St Kilda tonight was to launch his second book - "Ah well, Nobody's Perfect - the untold stories"

With his red-headed grumpy and moody assistant Yael Cohn in the front row, Molly took questions from the audience about his experiences on TV and his well known...

AUSTRALIAN TOUR POSTPONED – RESCHEDULED DATES TO FOLLOW
Today, it is with regret that Mac Miller is announcing the postponement of his upcoming Australian tour dates. After three long months on the road, playing over 70 shows in 90 days, he is postponing his trip due to exhaustion. Mac adds “Thank you to my loyal fans in Australia and New Zealand for all of the support over the years. I wouldn’t want to perform for you unless I was 100% healthy and on top of my

Sean Marchetti: The Yarra Street Project

Singer/songwriter Sean Marchetti describes music as his “salvation” during some significantly hard times. It was through necessity he developed the characteristic soul/blues/pop hybrid style that now defines his sound. Currently one of Melbourne’s most popular live music acts, Marchetti’s enviable career thus far has seen the 29 year-old play shows right across his home state; including numerous AFL functions, and supporting industry stalwarts: Jimmy Barnes, Thirsty Merc, John Steven...

    Vida Sunshyne and Randy Bouquaye

Yesterday afternoon I went to a benefit gig at the Central Club in Richmond for Randy Bouquaye from Randy&YahRoots.

Being one of Australia’s first reggae bands it has been about 30 years since I’ve seen these guys play and I do believe it has been a very long time since they have actually played together.

I was blown away by what ended up a great concert, with great music and great sound, engineered by one of Melbourne’s...

Sharkey and The Caddman: The Final Show - a review

The Toorak Times was invited to the very final show of Sharky and the Caddman, held at the Palms in the Crown casino, on the evening of Saturday 21st June.

This was indeed the final show of what has been a hectic but incredibly successful national tour the boys. The concert, titled "The Story of Sharky & The Caddman" and it bought together two of Australia's favourite musical "sons": Brian Cadd and Glenn Shorrock.

These two front-men weren't just suppor
